tailgate gets sprayed tomorrow. along with a few other bits. but i was wondering: do you think i should get them to colour code my boot lock while they do it? im not sure, cos would it look right with the black trim, as the lock being black sort of goes with the trim?
also, do you think i should de-badge it, or leave it as is?

cheers

They look good debadged and painted, there's enough examples of it on here, few in my garage, GSi still has the badge, Sport was debadged, both have no black bits on the bumpers though.

De-badge it. Get them to remove lock and window wiper, fill, spray.

i asked them to smooth it - wouldnt touch it. dont want to be held responsible if it cracks n shit. was wantin it like mavs old one, u kno semi-smooth, but they dont wanna do it. which would mean i would have have one made n its too much hassle as im gonna be sellin it soon anyway. hwihc is why i thought about colour coding the lock.
