i would run at least 4 gauge cable

good choice, my mate has that amp running 2 audiobahn subs and its VERY loud!
would defo run 4AWG cable from the battery to the boot, then put the 4AWG into a splitter and run 1x 8AWG cable to each of the amps, id do the same with the earth too.
this is how im doing mine at the moment, got a realy good wiring kit off ebay, cost about £100 in halfords but i paid £38 inc P+P
