So what do we all reckon on tonight then ??

Looks like Beckham will be playing on the right which i beleive is his best position BUT very unfair on Shaun Wright-Phillips as i think he should be an automatic selection on the team 11 now.

Owen looks set to partner Rooney upfront.

Sooo whats your thoughts ? i personally think this will be harder than the Welsh game but we will be ok.

I think we have more chance of scoring, rooney plays better just behind another striker so we should do well, NI don't have that much to throw at us in terms of attack and we are certainly capable of owning them in midfield

yes i agree, shaun WP, should definatly start, he's just quality all round. i remember when he cam and played ipswich i was takin da piss cos he was short, then he scored a good goal

oh well...italy v belaruse tonight....i shall prepare myself for abuse tomorrow

It says in the paper the SWP is playing in a 4-5-1 fromation with Rooney on the left instead of Cole

Rooney will play on the left as he can go around players and cut inside and personally I think this is a good idea.
