Why with coilovers do you seam to get big probs with Rust after paying so much for them? i have had Gmax on my car for over 2 yrs and so far no marking at all let alone rust? and the set cost just over £200 and Coilovers cost the Eart. So why is this? what makes them rust so bad?
Oh and is i was to buy coilovers what would i Buy? Between £400-£550?

coilovers are expencive, people get coilovers and they are cheap ones (i.e. fk), cheap ones are made of shit stuff, they rust, also a lot (like avo and gaz) are made for track use, where they are used then the car is garaged not wet so they dont rust.

The KW ones are made from high grade stainless steel and have high quality anodised aluminium parts. They shouldn't rust, but I think the aluminium parts will still corrode a bit. I would say it;s a good idea to keep them clean and give them a spraying with spray grease every so often...

THey are pretty similar in quality as far as I can tell, KW has a different spring set up to FK - KW's have one coil spring.
