last wed, driving along a 30 and car(new mondeo) pulls out into my side getting my front left wing and alloy, guy asked me to go to a bodyshop 1st and get a quote,so done that £500 roughly so he decides he will go through insurance,now can i just deal directly with his insurance so i dont have to pay out my excess? (£450 )

You only pay your excess of £450 if its your fault . You will have to pay it now, and claim it back later once they determine whos fault it is. Shit i know, i just had an accident too

yeah grey is right, if its found to be his fault your excess will be refunded

u wont pay your excess if its his fault his insurance will pay it but u still need to get intouch with ur company
