Just about to buy some new plates on the net and was wondering is it a legal requirement to have a space between the numbers and the letter on a plate?

i got my plates from grafix online and you were able to design them yourself - my are 3D - not sure wether its legal or not but not been stopped yet (bet i get pulled tomorrow now i've said that)- you were able to put your own caption on the bottom too, was very impressed

3D is fine, and u ant allow any different spaces. the font shud be a certain distance from the edge of the plate and the other letters/numbes. u are allowed slogans and borders
