my management light still comes on..... when i hit 4k rpm... a mate said a common fault on the 1.2 16v is engine speed sensor... apparently there is 2... he also said if i bridge to pins on the ECU plug under the dash the light flashes a certain ammount of times for a fault code (he said my car has on board fault reporting.... so.........
does anyone know whic pins i have to bridge and where i can find a list of fault codes?!?!??!
also does the light have to be permently on for this trick to work?!?!?!?

speed sensor
sounds more like an air mass sensor or the lamba sensor, definatly one of the o2 ones though. stick it on diag just to be sure though.
