For the first time since leaving school, I'm so good at 5-a-side, being a goalie is so much fun flinging yourself around that small goal on the astro turf.

They hobbled in the next day cursing.

I play 6-a-side in Rotherham League, it's a lot harder than 11-a-side if you play it right.

i play 5aside 2 or 3 nights a week.. its well good.

one league is www.pitchinvasion.com and the other i think is www.leisureleague.co.uk, but not sure..

then i play with just a group of mates

I play this weekly. my team just finished 2nd in the league for the 3rd year running. The sports centre has stopped running the leagues now so I have to look elsewhere....

I play every Sunday evening, normally 5 a side but some times 4 if folk dont show.

Just a weekly thing with mates nothing serious

I play 5 a side 3 nights a week, 11 a side training 1 night per week and 11 a side match 1 morning per week.

All equally as hard as each other if you put the effort in..

Well that was an eye opener

Need to get me a goalie shirt and some trousers, at first I was flinging myself around like I was on grass and making excellent saves, then noticed my elbows were bleeding so had to calm down and save with my feet.

I love it though, can't believe I have'nt done it for so long.

luv playing 5's used to play 3 times a week, then went to once a week for 2 hrs on a sunday..

haven't played for about 8 weeks though, need to get it organised again i think...

11-a-side doesn't require that much continual strength neither, you can guarantee atleast 10 hard tackles in10 minutes due to the pitch size.

I play 5/6 a side every friday an hate playing in goal (my usual position) as its so hard with those low goals... half the time u have to use ur feet as people dont aim high in case of going over... i usually play in defence... much easier!!
