I wish people wouldn't say that about 1.0 12v Corsa's.... I'm picking my runabout tomorrow and was telling somone I know about it and he, seriously - not joking, described the engine as half a V6. What a twat.

55bhp... I need something that I can get a years no claims on. I have always been insured in my Dads name, which turned out to be a bad idea when I tried to insure a 2.0 Corsa.... They are like group 16, most companys said I need 1 years no claims, the others quoted me over £2.5k and the others said go away with your sill car.

The other annoying thing about the 1.0 engines is they have hydraulic cam followers, which means I have to piss about servicing the car and changing the oil otherwise it will break or sound even more like a diesel...

The 1.0 engine is so 'cute' I almost want to take it out the car and use it as a teddy bear when I go to sleep

in theory it should be a v3 but it's a straight 3 pot.
