going to look at a car, can i have some help as to what to look for, listen for, check and what to ask please

first off check basics....
wheels engine chassis.....
have a look at the aa website they migt give tips etc...
or pay £150ish for inspection from AA ect

aa checks are shit my bro's have had 3 done one went on fire coz of electrics one had been rebuit from a right off and the chassis was bent and the other its cylinder head went

I have a 1.2 16v Corsa Club, from experiance all has been fine apart from Mass Air Flow meter and Idle Air control. Nothing too serious tho, just give it a good check over and drive it. What kinda mileage has it done?

Any EML problems. Particulary with Induction kits etc etc. Make sure the light is there

Yes lots of problems with sensors on these cars i should know   make sure the eml comes on when key is in second potion and give it a good go in alll gears.

i think you chek it for knocking. so you turn the wheel left/right quickly and listen for knocking. dont quote me on this tho. as some1 with a bit more knowledge. im an amateur
