season 1 finished in america ages ago and as far as im aware its just about done in aus.

season 2, is out next month so ive heard and its the same island same people. the story continues.
you dont find out what the monster are as the script creators dont even know yet.
the cliff hanger is, they try to blow open the hatch on the ship in the middle of the island. its something that even outstretched their imagination, the little black kid gets kidnapped by pirates when they are on the raft
