TOP Gear done something similar to this by getting an old Toyota pick up truck and doing various things to it. Driving it into the sea, dropping a caravan on it, setting it on fire, putting it on top of a 250ft building which was being imploded and it still started up fine and drove.

good old honda engines can last for ages think thats the 1.5lsi engine if not its the 1.4.. b16 engine you could kick fuck out of all day and would never go pop
