I am looking to get a decent but affordable MP3 player so that I can listen to my MP3s at work or when I go on holiday etc.
Looking at the Comet web site for example, they do the Apple iPod 20Gb (colour) for £209.99, but there is also a Creative Zen Touch 20Gb for £148.78 (online price) or £179.99 (in-store price).
I know the iPod seems to be 'trendy' but does the Creative offering work just as well? I don't think the Creative screen is in colour but whether it's colour or monochrome makes no difference to me, as I want a large capacity MP3 player, not a mini PC.
Your thoughts on this please ladies and gentlemen?

Apparently the XS200 is discontinued, replaced by the XS202?
What's wrong with the Creative one?

Thing is I've been given £20 of Capital Bonds vouchers so I wanna use them towards the purchase of an MP3 player, and Comet is only one of a handful of companies that accept these stupid vouchers...

I bought a Creative Zen Touch 20GB version online from PC World a few weeks back, not used an IPod so can't compare but I’ve been impressed with battery life (around 14-18 hours depending on bitrate), easy user interface and included software, only problem is the touch control can be a little over sensitive and sound quality on included headphones is snide.
