Checked my account last night and £244.14 has left my account (taken out at 11:30) and its not by me !!
Now i did buy football tickets online and it failed a few times but i've tried working that out and still doesn't add up, but other than that i haven't used my card recently
Anyone else ever had this ??
I've called my bank and they told me the money had left but they don't know anymore till mid-week when i have to call back once the process has finished !
Grrrrrrrrr

who do you bank with?
Normally u can see who it was taken by the day after
You could file a claim against it and tell your bank it wasn't authorised by you

Only ever had money missing when our puppy managed to get wallet down from work top n kitchen, he sat there giving the puppy eyes with the chewed soggy remains of a £20 note hanging from his big Golden Retriever lips

£112 was taken out of my account from Paypal, funny thing was the Paypal invoice showed the thiefs name and address, i added him to hotmail, looked at his profile, then looked at his faceparty profile and he was 40 years old from England
I reported him to the police and they said they wouldn't do anything about it because it was all done online at my own risk
I informed Paypal and got a full refund , thank god.

If you're majorly worried then just phone the barclays fraud line -- they don't use indian callcentres.
They'll stop your card straight away, and send you a list of transactions in the post. Once you sign to say it wasn't you, they'll give you the money back and go and investigate.
It's happened to me before, and we treated very well by them. You have to remember most the people that complain about card fraud end up recognising the transaction when it goes through

I've had this attempted, they tried to order £190's worth of goods on my card, was abroad (morocco) so Natwest fraud line rung me to ask if i ordered it from holiday or anything like that, if u call barclays fraudline they'll want you to replace all your cards.
