Rite guys
Wer do you think I should fit my 52 mm TIM tacho?

I'm not sure bout if just to put it on a pod
on top of the MFD above the heaters, or to locate it in one of the heater vents?
Look here to see what I mean
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/1803/interiorpic2.jpg
I think I wana put it where rocky's phone holder it, but actually set back into the vent so it fits flush with the dash.
BTW wana thank Rocky, used his pic cos his car is the only one I have ever seen modified in the same color as mine! My dash is highlighted in the cars colour (Frost blue) but the face of the dial is black so would match the black vent.
Any opinions are welcome!
Thanks guys

havn't tried it yet Mike cos I havnt decided where to put it, but located the coil and there is only one green wire going to it, guess thats the one! How did you connect the wires though? Strip a section of the coil wire and solder on? or just cut it to splice the tacho in? Anyway what is your opinion?

sounds good mate I was thinking about the crash panel as well but decided it a bit far from my line of sight. Putting a voltmeter or temp guage or something there would be fine, but u look at a tacho quite a lot don't u!!!!
Anyone else let me know how they connected theirs up to the coil? Is it a high ampage cable? I'm guessin not looking at it! Its about te same size as standard speaker cable ie tiny!

yea I have seen them before mate, look very good but I only want the one gauge I think. Which is why I wana flush it in the vent, where I think it will look mighty good If I can do it properly!
