I've been trying to set my pc back to 12/08/2005 for an hour now and don't seem to know how to sort it, any tech heads got a clue about this please?

To get to system restore its start > programs > accessories > system tools > system restore
|

I've not even found out how to start it, I don't want to restore the system fully, just back to friday, as my brother wiped something off it which I need.
It's an IBM Intellistation M-Pro with windows XP if that helps.

aye if you follow the instructions i gave you, and see if windows created a restore point for the 12th.

use system restore and u can pick what date you want to go back to.

Cheers guys, sorted it  , I'm shite with PC's plus I'm on a network at home (have business office for my job) and I usually have a maintenance bloke to do all this but he's in Canada at the moment.
