someone i know wants to buy an MG i have no idea what model. but she wanted to know what the deal was with them closing down etc etc.
i heard on topgear that if you had an mg you could stil get it services at certain garages. but i dont really know what the deal is.
could someone please enlighten me.

ok, well obviously they are very cheap, but dealers are closing down everyday now that the forecourts are emptying. You get special reccomendations for servicing at various places, but you get no warranty, but parts shouldnt be a problem.

a lot of the garages have switched franchises, the one in rochdale is now mitsubishi (there is a nice evo 8 there) but they have a forecourt full of Mg's on special offer. They really want rid of them so a good deal is easy to get. My mates dad got a fully loaded ZT for 12K

crack is, dont buy one.
i got a zr brand new and it had fallen to pieces within 2 months...dealer bascially said "fuck off , what do u expect? its a rover"

the rover/mg garage by me has signs up saying all cars come with complete waranty
