if it was me that was buying the car, and I was pissed off, i'd probably say something to my mates but i would'nt go on a car forum and tell every1 about it, why do they need to know?

I think this thread was well uncalled for as its quite obvious he wasn't trying to con you as he said he would give the deposit back, he is the one out of pocket. He could of sold it to you but did the honest thing.
If HH would be the one pissed off not you. Karen sort it out
