Apparently, a few bits were cut from the UK version of Lost, and my ex has seen the version aired in Australia.

1) when the pilot was plucked from the cockpit, in aussie version, blood spattered all over the windscreen, not shown in UK

2) when jack and charlie are walking back to camp, they spot the pilot up in the tree, in aussie version, you get to see the decapitated pilot hanging, that was cut from UK version.

Heheh, I noticed exactly the same differences when I watched it at a mate's house, after watching the entire series already!

I reckon it's possibly because the initial pilot episode was shown at 8:30pm, which technically is pre-watershed, so they probably had to cut those out because of that. From what I've seen, the remainder of the series will be on late-night, so "should" be safe from the editor's knife......C4 aren't usually a channel to pull punches and edit stuff post-watershed!

Yes it was aired before the watershed an in between two Big Birthers hence why we didnt get it
