I have set up a new contract for a d500 online but they have sent me 3 phones and sims, i have registered one as my contract phone and that is now set up.
What do i do with the others? Any ideas should i just send them back?
Or should i try to register them as pay as you go

Just hang onto them for a while. They may realise their mistake and sk for them back! They will work on PAYG no problem i think.

look after them for a month or so and see if they request them make - if not, then get them unlocked and use a PAYG sim them and/or sell them on ebay etc

PAYG maybe, but tbh im sure they have a list of the IMEI numbers and tbh they might ask for them back after that
so i would unlock them and use a different network

i used to work for vodafone in the upgrades ect department, basically i would wait till yu recieve your first bill to see if there are any charges on there for the equipment if there is no mention of a charge on the bill then they will work on payt no problem also can get them unlocked to whatever network you want, you only need to register the sim card for a contract to work, not the phone.
ebay time, some one probs just made a cock up on the system and to be honest they recieve that many phone orders no one will probs pick it up, well used to be like this on vodafone.
if you want to be sure ring the customer service line and say "hi can i just check how many phones i have been charges for when i took my upgrade, as before when i upgraded they charged me twice and i dont want it to happen again" the person will then tell you if you will be getting charged for the other phones if not spot on and keep them.
