my missus's sis has one on finance

think she is going to be paying £7K for it

way to much for one of them, you could have near enough a full show car,2ltr'd in a corsa B for that price

What do you mean why?. They are a decent small car for new drivers. If you were buying say I new 1.2. I'd probably have a corsa over most others. Clios are shit (both my old one and the g/f was full of faults), micras, puntos, fiestas etc...take your pick.

But they are still like 6-8 grand...

you could buy a really good spec focus for that, or Punto or VW golf, polo, lupo etc...

it just seems a hard market to hold a good price for such a long time...

they are good solid cars, and probably the best selling hatch in the UK. same story over here.

But u can get a 1/2 year old one for 5k, and a slightly older one for 4k

money well spent imo

Yeah they are holding their price well. I'm considering a 1.8 SRi for my next car but there is no way I'm paying the prices they want for them at the moment! Waiting for the Corsa D to come out and hopefully they will come down in price alot

i wouldn't mind a 1.8 SRI.. but they are about 8-9K

Im waiting till they drop in price when the corsa d comes out, gonna get a 2000/2001 one or one i can find for cheap and make it look like the exclusiv model
Seen a black one at vaux looked lush

Mk4 astras came down loads since the new one came out might get one of those until i can pick up a C for £1500ish
