struggling to slice my template for my website.
i need to be able to put text in the big middle box but i forgot how to do it :S
i had previosly sliced it but when i can to edit the page it wouldnt let me type in to the box

well, only way i know that would allow for unlimited amount of text in the middle would be to create a table to hold that image, lay a number of cells to divide it up so that you have a box the same width/height of the "box" and use a floating frame (iframe).
However, your not going to get any of that background in under flating box - so it might be worth just cutting it out, filling it white and saving it as a gif with transparentcy (save on bandwidth as that took ages to load).
Another way would be use flash, harder, but could look better

hmm i may have to ask one of my techy mates to get involved... he don the last one but as you said it was white,
i really like the spiral though going thruough the box

SSL - is basically a secure way of holding peoples credit cards details so they can join and use the site in a safe way

SSL is a secure way of conecting to the server to enter any details like that.
Not of storing them.

Yep when important / personal info is being transfered, this is normally upon registration or login
