Although i want to keep the sleeper look i've been trying to tidy up the LS. So I've been having a go at spraying myself.

Done the mirrors so far. Currently working on front arches. Then gonna do the rears. Scuttle panel is primed and ready to spray.

Turning out pretty good for my first attempt i think

Arch here looks dodgy but it looks nothing like that in real life....must be my 4 year old digital camera

Current method (which contains what I use):

Clean with meths and cloth

Sand down with medium grit wet and dry

Halford Primer (4 thin coats - used Red Primer but experimenting with white currently) - leave 24 hours

Rub down with 120 (fine) grit wet and dry (wet)

Dry

Halfords Flame Red Paint (4 coats)

Dry for 24 hours

Halfords Clear Laquer (2 coats)

Dry for 24 hours

All out of the can mate. Not gonna do bumpers though.
