Sweet cars...

Would love to do that to a Nova! Was the LET rebuilt to standard spec?

the intercooler end caps dont make that much difference, at the end of the day it wont effect the car much, infact i bet there would be little or no difference if i done a back to back test! is rather have 200mm extra core than a slightly more flow efficient end cap!

yup slam panel is bolt in! got to use bonnet pins tho

the let is not 100% standard, ive cut and pasted the spec from n/l below

c20let, 2049cc, full re- build inc every gasket and every bearing!, garret t3 turbo from a 2wd sapphire cosworth with hybrid blades and polished compressor housing, -31 actuator, apex stainless tubular manifold for a nissan s14 re flanged to suit, autronic mappable sm2 manegment inc launch, traction and anti lag control, worked coscast head, custom over sized flowed top hat tapped for inlet temp and boost, accralite low comp, oversized forged pistons, bosch 363 injectors, xe inlet camshaft, sbd vernier pulleys, sbd steel valve spring caps, sbd valve springs, walbro fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator set to 3.5 bar, sytec alloy filter, moquip 8mm braided fuel line with 8mm jic fittings, arp rod bolts, commetic 1.9mm kevlar head gasket, forge motorsport custom FM intercooler to my own design, mocal oil cooler set up, f28 box with quafe atb lsd, helix competition clutch with organic plate, gen gasket kits, boost/water silicon hose kit with mikalor stainless hose clips, bailey dump valve, blitz induction kit, cool running thermostat, xe oil pressure sender, stainless header tank and brake resevoir cover, polished exhaust heat sheild, polished bulkhead blanking plate, competition engine mounts, stealth systems 3" exhaust from turbo back!!. stealth systems over size boost pipes, cam/ cam belt cover colour coded in anthresite black with chequered flag detailing to match the wheels, h/h full rally stiffening kit, seam welded turrets and legs, stitch welded inner wings and 1 off plug

why did you use the Garret T3 rather than a KKK turbine.

I'd remove the blitz filter as well. it's not great at filtration.

whats the pressure drop on the IC?

used a T3 to get me started and into the 12's m8, then im going straight for a T34, there is a much lesser spec astra with autronic and a T3 and that made just over 300hp atw iam realy limited with the t3 to around that figure. i will prolly build a new bottom end at some point to go towards 400hp, but for now my only going is to run in the 12's at pod.
not sure on pressure drop but almost all the big power fords use the same end tanks as myne on rs 500 i/c so if they are good enough for 600hp they will be fine for me
