once these have been set off, does that mean they have to be replaced for MOT?

or will it still pass?

pre tensioners will cause airbag warning light to come on, causing instant MOT fail.

I've got harnesses in my car so it doesn't have pre-tensioners anymore and it passed?

I can't see how the airbag light will be affected by a pre-tensioner going off as it is a self contained unit - so no wires coming off it.

if the yellow tag is sticking out it should fail the mot as the belts are actually unsafe.

this is what it says in the manual about them.

"some seatbelts are fited with pretensioners.

once activated a 'flag' or similar shows on the seat belt stalk.

in itself a seat belt that has had the pre tansioner activated is NOT a reason for rejection.

the vehicle presenter should be advised. "
