Car was meant to be finished for saturday, they call me today saying the rear bumper isnt done ( I think im going to get it done elsewhere ) the bonnet needs rubbing down and polishing and the jacking points need respraying oh and the speedlines are flaking so they need to be sent back to speedline
Then he starts talking about the bill, saying if he has to charge per full panel it would be like £4k then he said pop over to discuss the bill and we can work something out, i was like wot the fcuk i aint paying £4k for bodywork.. so he has sent over the list of what he has done i cant wait to read it

stu, i cant beleive its been nearly a year now, seemed a nice place when i picked the wheels up!!

I suggest a letter from a solicitor or something, and i would just get the car back and take elsewhere and then send him the bill

Are you mad ? Dont pay a penny !! Correct me if im wrong. the work you wanted completed shouldnt cost £1500

Is this the same bodyshop that fucked up the 1st time..

I Would take the car back and not give them a penny. or pay them with a cheque and make sure it bounces... only a £40 charge

I know a good bodyshop but its a crash repair centre.. they have a very quick turn around..

A mate had a massive scratch on his wing. dropped it off 2 hours later got a phone call. "Cars Ready" Then again they do have a oven etc..

Stu I told you to use S&T, I am so pleased I have these at my disposal, they are realiable, very very good and are well priced, slighty more expensive than everywhere else but you get what you pay for especially in this industry.

i disagree with ollie, i think they make their prices up as they go along!
Sometimes im like WTF?? Are u going to do ALL that for thi much?
Other times im like U what.

But as he says u get what u pay for. They arent the best in the land, they arent the most communicative, but judging by the shit people seem to go thru they are the fucking best

I told u to use them

holly coachworks in stokenchurch has been good, reliable and cheap for me.

leave him to it and he always comes up trumps. ocaasionly there has been a small niggle, but he's always happy to have it back again to rectify any probs.
