Hi,

We bought my brothers car with no Tax, so presumably it was SORN by the previous keeper.

We bought the car with just the Log Book and MOT.

How would we go about putting it back on the road (I.E. Taxing it/Un-declaring it SORN)

Cheers,

Phil W

Also, when it says you need to produce insurance documents, do they have to be specifically for that car, or can any valid insurance document do ?

There is nothing to it, you just go to the post office as normal with the usual documentation, and the SORN is automatically removed, not even mentioned, its just taxed as normal.
