How long should you charge a brand new phone for, for its first charge?
Just got a Samsung E330 and in the manual it says 2.5 hours, id've thought longer than that?

New phones with new style batteries (cant remember the name of them) do not need 12-15 hours like the old mobile phone batteries.
Just charge it up untill it says its complete/full.
Remove charger and make sure u run the battery down to empty and charge it to full again.... do this about 10 times. This will improve battery life in the long run
