i am looking at buying a corsa sport are there any problems associated with them that i should be looking out for

yes, not too bad

There arent any real major problems with them, are you looking at 1.4 or 1.6?
Just do the usual checks, not smoking on idle/revs, good milage and matches up to service log. Check on outstanding finance obviously.
The engines are pretty good maintainance wise if they have been looked after, but there are always a few dogs out there.
If you want a 1.6, look for a GSi, these are better looking. Try and find a low milage with C16XE engine, its a good one. Although later model GSi's/Sports also have good engines, and are going to be newer/lower milage.

Cracks in the b pillar. Noticed alot of old corsa's with this problem. I have it on mine.
