i ordered some bits for my engine about a month ago now (TB's, cams, ecu) but since i ordered them, i had an unexpected bill, which now means i cant afford to have them fitted
so, i rang northampton motorsport up and asked them to cancel the bits, which they did, but they told me the ecu was non returnable, and i'd have to pay to have it fitted still, as they werent willing to give it to me with some money
this morning i decided to ring weber, and see what their returns policy was, and i was told, that there would not be a problem wit returning it, as it was an off the shelf part made for super1600 rally cars
now i have the problem that northampton motorsport are basically refusing to give me my money back, and i originally had to give them a large wedge to cover the cost of the parts
toruble is, i'm not sure where i stand on this, and i dont particularly wanna get fucked over for nearly 3 grand
thanks for listening...
can anyone help?

Did they state there was a no return policy?

everything
but they said the money i have given them will cover the cost of fitting a standalone ecu to the standard engine, which seems like a waste of money really

agreed this should still be possible, but if they still refuse to refund you on the ECU & it is one for the Super1600 series, get webber to back you up too that its all refundable!

cos they dont want to give me any money back
and i dont want the bits now anyway, cos i've had enough of messing around with them, and i cant see why they wont adhere to they trading laws

paul, thats my plan, but i cant get through to anyone with authority at northampton motorsport, and i've got to wait for weber to ring me back to confirm what they told me, so i cant go over tho see northampton motorsport and tell them face to face what they have to legally do for me (according to the office of fair trading, and the citizens advice bureau)

I'm sorry Rob but this little plan of yours was doomed from the outset.
