Caved into the players request. They have to be realistic and realise SWP wants to leave. Any offer to them over £20million is a good one, thats a 1/3 of their debt written off.

Doesn't make sense why Chelsea want SWP, they have enough wingers without adding another. Who is Jose going to drop?

i think he is thinkin, he aint bought any strikers in the summer, so he cud use either duff or robben as an out and out striker, and the system he plays with one striker and 2 off him wud suite that

plus lets face it robben and duff ainthad the lkuckiest of seasons with injuries have they????

so if u think about it, i think hes a good buy and one that will get used more than people think

To be honest as I said yesterday, wouldn't surprise me if whoever buys him turns him into an Henry... skillful striker, he has the capabilities IMO

True but SWP is skilful and an ace in front of goal, many would have said the same about Henry when we signed him tbh

i agree wi thhe skill he has, no one can doubt that, wi better players, he can only get better himself

but to contradict myself, andy johnson as done well for palace and he is just as big, maybe u just gotta play of there qualities a player as

indeed, but they also have chelsea after him, who can afford 200m never mind 20, so they'll knock it up.

i'll be surprised if they let him go for less than 25.
