why is it happening again?? ive changed the idle valve sensor and it was running peachie for about a month. then today the revs start picking up again, its running at 1250rpm even when its warmed up just like the auto choke is still on. it also sputters when i drive why dose this happen to me

its the sensor on the thermostat housing. you can see it just below the silver cam belt cover in this pic:

5 minuite job. unscrew the old one, put in the new one.

Before you change your CTS, have you made sure your breather pipes aren't choked up with yellow crap, and similarly that there's no carbon deposits on your throttle body?

is it the sensor just after the manifold guard and before the cat?? if so how the fook do i get it out coz mines been there for 11 years and its a bugga to turn
