Finnally got power to one of my amps to get my front focal K2P's working for my fun drive to newquay tomoro, and all i can say is WOW
i am permantly like this 
cant wait till i get back and finish my sub boxes for my RE 8 inchers
one little prob is that wen i have the engine on there is a clicking u can only hear wen the stereo is on low low volume, and my engine got really really hot wen i sat there for a little bit lestening with the engine on  slightly scared.
oh well, sorry for my rant, just so

sounds like altenator whine, are your power cables well away from rca's and speaker cables?

yep, the speakers down middle, power left, rca right
i am not sure how good my earth is, but i dont care, the over heating is what i am scared bout and punctures as i cant get to the spare wheel

i have no spare at all 
upgrage the earth from the headunit and battery to at least 4awg this may help, just check and double check all connections.
have you used decent rca's also?
