When changing an exhaust manifold.

Do I need to use sealant as well as the gasket between the manifold and block?

dont think so
just make sure the faces are clean and free from corrosion

clean em & just use the metal gasket & tighten it up proper, no need for any messy gasket sealent!

i'm unsure about that statement andy.

it deffo might of sounded like a silly question, but i still working out if it was in fact a silly question
