Does it have the Remote Desktop Connection
Thinking of going to it as my system is too slow running XP Can't afford a new one yet as the morgage is killing me

Can't remember if it has or not if it don't just download the remote desktop client or an alternative is to use winvnc.

no it doesnt but you can download it as an add-on from the microsoft site, or if you have the 2000 CD it is on there under the tools folder in a cab file iirc

I've got a proper version from uni so i can get all the updates etc no prob. However, i need to use the Remote Desktop Connection for work so i can work from home.

You mean to connect to other computers or to connect to yours from elsewhere?
It has the client - ie. you can connect to other places.

Yeah you'll be OK. I have Pro and it has it. Even if not you can download the client for free.

what do you need to do to the other PC? if its just to manage files/copy files etc then you can connect to it by going to start>run>\\computername(or IP)\c$
However if you want to manage the setting on the other PC then you will need to RD in
