as the title says, im driving to disneyland paris tomorrow. im going over on the ferry. what documents will they ask me for?
i cant find my licence or insurance anywhere. had some stuff stolen from the house recently, im thinking they might have been taken with it. never thought to check before.
ive got my passport (obviously) and european breakdown cover, registration docs and plenty of ID.

green card,insurance as some companys dont insure you while your abroad this costs you extra

and at which point do you need to show an insurance doc?

Shouldn't need a green card. Your drivers licence is sufficient as it's an EU one.

you wont need to show your insurance unless you have an accident.thats if your covered to drive abroad have you checked if your insurance covers you abroad ??? green card this might have changed but you always needed one a few years back

When i went to spain a month ago the only thing i had to show was my Passport and my Driver Licence card.
I was worried to that i need more and i couldn't find the paper part of my licence but i was ok.
You may need to have a credit card handy so that if there are any damages they will take it from that card.
Hope you have fun driving abroad like i did. I done 300 miles in one week down near Alicante. I had a 1.2 Micra but it went like stink. Especially when i redlined it all the time

Just read your post properly. Think when you go to France you are supposed to have everything if your going in your own car/bike.
You need the card and paper parts of your licence, some proof of insurance and passport obviously.
