1. you have to build the paint up inside the pocket in very thing layers as you will probably spray the outside with it and dont want a run in the paint.
2. they will chip just like normal paint does if something hard hits them..... (seatbelt clip for example)

3. its actually better to use fibreglass matting and resin than p40 this reduces the chance of the filler cracking.

i have had these in my car for a year now and they are still fine

u can take the backs off the pockets, but its a pain in the arse, and even more of a pain to get back together

Just smooth the door pockets over, all they do is collect dust and mould.

I considered that, but as its my everyday car decided as I'd need the pockets and use them a fair amount.

am doin this and then smoothing them into the door cards.

rikki just use the passenger seat for all ut belongings.
