Did you know that the speed of light actually travels at its fastest through a vacuum, it might be a constant, as proved by Einstein, but it is a basic prinicple that light travels slower through matter than it does through a vacuum.

no im not, light is a snapshot of time


your see a by product of extreme distance. the same thing happens when you move an arm it's just the light has to travel such a short distance you don;t notice it

You can also calculate the difference between proper and improper time of two moving bodies depending in which reference frame the observer is, the same theory as why moving clocks will run slow.
