thinking about fitting an evo scoop to me yellow corsa. Ive got a PSG combat 2 wide kit and think the extra squarish shapped mesh bits will look great with the big squarish shapes in the front bumper- got any thoughts?
but ive heard big vents are a pain to fit and dont last without cracking. I also heard that the problem most of the time is with strength in the hood, cus its got huge holes and less strengtheners making it flex and crack the filler. So i thought i might leave in the strenghteners and just drill several holes instead of one huge one. this would mean the hood should still be strong and not crack my filler- what do you think, good idea? has anyone done it before? will it solve the eventual cracking problem?
im no to bothered about it not letting in much air cus i plan on cutting a hole in my wing and poking my huge powertec ind cone out the side. Thats why i just want the hood to look good and stay looking good cus im tired of respraying cus of filler and fibreglass problems.
my only worry is that if i dont get the holes in the right place then water might collect inbetween the bonnet and scoop.
I need your valued opinions fast, cus i want to get it sorted before all the summer shows are over.
