wots the quickest corsa b 1.2, isit the SXI i was told its 75bhp?

Any of the 16v, which SXi would be one.

Book figure was 65bhp, its only 75bhp in the C but some late B owners will tell you they got the C engine early and thus 75bhp in a B.

I have a B SXi, 1.2 16v 75.3bhp.........CAT back system, modded air box and different filter.

If your thinking of buying 1, be careful as they are prone to flat spots that leave u kangarooing at traffic lights! Could end up being an expensive problem to fix, as it might need plugging into the computer and seeing if any faults are stored.

I phoned vaux on friday, they are aware of the problem but they said it could be a list of things from air flow meter/coolant temp sensor/loom in need of modifying, plus others!

I'm having mine plugged in tomorrow evening as its playing up!

i've got the same problem. just thought i was driving crap. i'll look into this

did have 1.28v, and had flat spots, pipercross and full sebring exxhaust system and was still sluggish and jumpy off traffic lights!!!

UPDATE

I bought a new set of spark plugs today and a new GM Air Flow Meter at £140 quid. Fitted the plugs and the new AFM today and havent had any flat spots of chugging at traffic lights so far.......fingers crossed it will remain this way!

Your problems could be something else, just letting you know that £145 cured mine at the moment!

I get this but only after going round right hand corners (makes roundabouts a bitch) and only when it's under half a tank of petrol? Air cooltant temp sensor changed, fuel filter changed :S ?
