Time has come to make a decision what to do careerwise....

I graduated last year with a Degree in Accountancy and Finance...however due to a bit too much time in the pub I got a 2:2 which I missed a 2:1 by 3 lousy percent This IMO makes you deadwood

Job hunting hasnt been not too sucesfull and its been a year now since I left university. I am now considering going back to doing something completely different I was thinking of doing Optomerty which is well linked to my current job but will be quite hard to study.

Now, am I being a loony to consider another three years at university? My theory is whats another three years of your life to end up with a career you want. Although the propsect of another three years being skint is somewhat daunting. Also the fact its going to be an even harder subject. I supose after having one go I know I would be keen to work harder this time round.

Has anyone else done this and gone back?

its now or never, the longer you leave it to go back the harder it will be. But then again you might drop on a good job.

How about getting a job and going a part-time degree then? It will probably be very hard but it depends how much you want it.
