Edd_20 - you may be right about the Simtec > Ecotec link, as my brother used to have a 95/M 2.0 16v Cavalier with the Ecotec engine, and that had the Simtec system...

I might ask at Vauxhall when I pick my car up there later - hopefully they will know...

I remember at one particular Vauxhall garage years ago they asked my brother if his car (the Cavalier with the Ecotec engine) ran on carbs...
