pretty sure there is power gains i think a normal 1.2 i6v has 75bhp and the new twinport has 80bhp iirc

yeah they say the new 1.2 16v has 80bhp so by that the new 1.4 16v should have 95bhp but i have had a 75bhp 1.2, and two twinport 1.4 sri's and there all slow.  As for econemy its not any better from what i can see but i dont use it much out of town.  Sure with the twinport thing the emissions are down enough to take it a class lower which is why my road tax is only £105 a yr
