well i went into the back of a BMW 5 series.

i was driving down a hill and there was slow traffic in front, but it was moving, i was quite far away from the 5 series, which because the traffic had stopped suddenly, had slammed on their brakes, so i did also, and could not slow down in time, into the back i went. impacted at 20 miles an hour.

the beemer has two small marks about 1.5 inches high and a foot wide.

the corsa now has a triangular bonnet, a bumper that goes in at the grill and out at the bottom. and no headlights.
damage to the front of the chasis means damage costs between 750-1000
so write off basically.

i am totally destroyed. the car got insured on friday, and mot'd and taxed on saturday.

so now i need a car to get to my job. which leaves these options:

1. buy a citroen AX for 250 quid.

2. sell the parts off the corsa and scrap it

3. get the welding done and fix the headlights, bumper and lights myself, probably cost 500-600.

if there are any ideas please put them up

im off to cry now.
