Was driving along today, smoke started to fill up in the car.... Hmmm, turns out JBL stuff is shit. My amp burnt out and my crossover set on fire I think... Smoke was coming out of the top of the door card and now my tweeter doesn't work  Wasn't even playing my music loud  Time to stock up on some JL stuff

Nope, the install is fine....
I tell you why the crossover set on fire  GAP SECURITY CANNOT FIT ALARMS! Right firstly, the rubber boots that the wiring for the doors goes through needed to be modified for my indicator wires to go through, all good, I do a neat job. GAP fit's the alarm, messes with the rubber boot and fucks it, its all torn and the tape I wrapped around it is hanging off... Then they take the cable ties off that attatch the wires for my indicators to the door to stop them flapping about. The wires then get caught in the windo winders and break then they short out on the crossover. Good one.

Can no one in the car modding industry do thier jobs properly. I mean, the ammount of crap and contamination in my paint job as will, it just takes the piss. My paint looks like a spotty teenagers face its got so many fucking pits in it from silicone contamination. It's not like I have had any work done by dodgy people either. All done by so called pro's with good reps.

I wish I could paint my car. I don't think I should really do a metal flake touch up for my first attempt. Also, I think fitting alarms is way to difficult, also Cat 1's have to be fitted by an approved dealer to be insurance approved

The thing that pisses me off is that mine and somone elses blue and white car on here were done by the same bodyshop, ahem, and the paint is shit. Oh, and who the hell repairs cracked B pillers with fucking BODY FILLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But then almost every other car done by that particular bodyshop are finished pretty well.

is that midas? everyone says its shite, i were thinking of bringing my car there but ive been told by 5+people who have had there cars done that there work is shite, rushed and no better than a backstreet bodyshop.
