Really don't have a clue about electrics so was wondering if someone could give me a hand here.
I've been about a month without my tunes, and I starting to miss them bigtime!
They just stopped working one day, don't have a clue what had happened.
Everything is the same, the CD player plays the CD, the radio seems to work and I can still use the CD player as if there is nothing wrong, but I have lost all sound.
So I took the CD player out of it place, and took a few pics to see if any of you smart people of CS have a clue whats up?
When removed the CD player, I found a pinkish/purpleish wire, not doing anything, so Im not sure if that has came out somewhere?
Anyway, here are my findings:

This is the bit that goes into the back of the CD Player

This is where 2 wires have been twisted together, one black, one red

Also a connection

This is a small black block, 2 sides to it, it looks like some sort of connector as well. In the back, there are 2 openings for wires, in 1 of these is a black wire, in the other is a black and a brown wire?

Another connection?

And finally, the mystery wire?

Hope I have explained things well enough to get some help from you guys.
Thanks
CJ

hmmmm, if nothings changed i cant c it being an actual fault. I cant see it being a wiring problem because the cd player is acting usual and if it was seaker wiring all of them would have to be damaged.

unless ur usin just amps and its just not getting the remote turn on.

ur absolutely positive its not a headunit mode like mute, attention, or u just turned the volume down

lol unfortunatly mate, I've checked all the modes, volume, everything, and can't for the life of me find a problem.
All Im running is the headunit, fronts and 6x9s on the parcel shelf.
No sound at all, not even the beep I usually get when changing modes.

The fuse is fine in the headunit, not checked any fuses in the fusebox bit though?
