I used travellers cheques last year for the first time, they do keep you feeling secure but it's a bit of pain going to reception then all the way back to your room to put some 'cash' back in the safe (so you don't sepend it all in 1 afternoon) etc but i'd defo use them again as i'm paranoid about losing money all the time, let alone when their's loads of pissed up kids around

Jesus christ, what do you spend that on? I took £450 to Faliraki for 2 weeks, spent the last of it on my final day out there, worked out perfect. I also did what I wanted to do, never had to cut back or anything. Went out pretty much every night too.

I like to have a comfortable time and be able to do what I want and not have to bother about budgetting. I spent £900 in faliraki for 2 weeks and still had £10 left on my last day

Feck that I spent £1250 in a week in Ibiza last year and the only thing I did in the day (holiday-ish) was jet ski-ing one day for £20 odd the rest was on going out, the odd few chips, water and err chemicals

i found majorca this year not to be much cheaper than here due to the euro being introduced.

local pint about £1.50
bottles bud etc about £2.50..

meal for me, missus and kid with maybe 1 drink each about £25 and thats onlt main course usually...

We spent about £1250 in the 2 weeks and that was a quiet holiday, time spent by pool and beach, no clubs etc...A few trips here and there....
