Jokes aside, you actually do. Kris TD's brother got pulled over by the Police becase he had a TDI badge on this Corsa TD. The Police told him his insurance would be invalid because it had the wrong badge ont he back...

I'm putting a 16v badge on mine, might even be a GSi one as I have one off of the Cavalier knocking about Though people will hate me for doing it.

What does the I stand for in TDI as I can't figure it out? Though maybe intercooled but all turbos have intercoolers anyway, then I thought injection but aren't diesels injection anyway? Not 100% about second explanation though

Turbo diesel Injection... think it was more to do with the Engines becoming multipoint injection instead of Single point,

Also i think it was Started to make the TDi as Apealing as say a GTi/GSi/SRi if you know what i mean

Aren't the Gti badges on golf gti's optional, and it puts the insurance up if you have them on?! Heard something like that years ago!
