Didn't Clarkson blow up a Sierra in one of his vids. Think it was a blue and yellow thing

Well said broster. What so because most of us drive corsa's we cannot comment on these two cars? What a load of shit.
Both cars are fast yes, but both are ugly as sin, so i'll say neither and opt for something newer.

They are both lovely cars indeed.
However, the Cavalier is essentially a very nice hotted up road car, whereas the Sierra is a continuation of the original layout that was homologated for international rallying and group A touring car racing, so has impeccable pedigree and legendary heritage.
Additionally; the Sierra is even prettier than the Cavalier, and (aswell as the 4WD variant) in 2WD form has the advantage of a longitudinally mounted engine and therefore RWD, thus retaining it's heterosexual credentials.
So, on reflection, even though I would love a Cavalier and have owned Cavaliers in the past, there realy is no competition between the two cars; and no decision making to do.
I would choose the Sierra every time without hesitation, and if I had the money, there would be one sat on my drive right now.

sorry my comment seame to been taken somewhat litrally
i feel as alot of us own and drive corsa's, we dont have the best taste in motor cars, therefore alot of us are not in the postion to comment about something, espically if the ins and outs of the car are not know
i should have either not commented (why its the net, not real life) or as i agreed with fad the majority on here will either have no taste in either cars (and possbly like the more fibreglassed based shopping cars) or just want to start a agrument as they dont like my opinion

Both are gash imo, old, out dated and I have no desire to invest my beer money into any of the previously stated cars

I agree with jr everybody to there own, but, a nice clean example of the cossie will hold if not go up in value and be alot more reliable imo than the cav!!
I think polls like this need to give more info if it is a real choice they wish to make,
the cossie will no doubt cost alot more to buy for starters!!!! therefore you are saying a £5k car v's £2.5k car! not really fair
