Oliver, have you seen Alien Resurrection Special Edition??? Alot better imo.
Marc, this film is a disgrace to the Alien brand, I'm not sure why it just does not fit with the first 3 films.
They really should have just made a prequal to the first one explaining how the Derelict got infested and how it came to have crashed on LV-426.

Oh and another thing about that film, when a person is cloned your are cloning the human entity, there is no possible way that cloned Ripley would have the same personality or the memorys Ellen Ripley would have had.

I agree, but the SE/Directors Cut does make the film alot better. Maybe a better fight between the alien and the cloned alien would have been better. You cant beat Aliens SE though. Alien 3 SE is better too on repeat viewins.
Aliens SE did try to explain how the infestation started and focused on Newt and her family. It does make the rest of the storyline more complete.
